Over the course of her career, Stewart has developed a reputation for being equally conversant in the technical and creative aspects of design and production - having served in the capacity of writer, producer, technical director and visual effects supervisor. Recent notable successes in the online arena are creation of 100 “How To” video segments for Real Simple, 600 video segments for the re-launch of Health.com and consulting on, and producing the content for, the Real Simple Real Life TV show web site.
Karen has led the management of design and postproduction on projects for major television and cable networks, including the redesign for the CBS Sports Network, the Superbowl 2003 on air package as well as VH1's True Spin, and projects for Showtime, Comedy Central, MTV and PBS.
In the advertising arena, Karen has worked on thousands of projects for top advertising agencies, including national campaigns for Saatchi, Grey Worldwide, BBDO, and D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, among others. Additionally, she gained early experience in interactive media for major corporations in industries from pharmaceuticals to high-tech and consumer products.
